K-12 education refers to the primary and secondary education that a student obtains during his schooling. K-12 education is an abbreviated term used for education from kindergarten to twelfth. As we embark on this journey together we’ll briefly discuss the many issues facing our nation and our world and the truth is, it is our generation who will face the true challenges of the world, and unless we prepare ourselves to address those challenges… Unless we have the tools and strategies we need to address these problems… we will face a time of enormous devastation, and tremendous hardship throughout the world. Its up to us! As leaders, you and I must step up to a level previously unheard of.

In the United States, we have over 1 million high school drop-outs per year! Our education system is ranked 21st out of 27 industrialized countries. And we are the only country who has not raised our graduation rankings in the past five years. Now more than ever, teenagers need the tools, strategies, and principles we’ll begin discussing in a moment because our school systems just aren’t cutting it! You see the education hasn’t changed in centuries…

Our history classes might be teaching the events of the past few centuries but the way we are taught to enter into the “real world” as our teachers so often call it hasn’t shifted to meet the needs of our world’s demands.
